Sambath is an enthusiastic volunteer who has been involved in organising social projects in various youth-run associations and offers chances to communicate with the grassroots and marginalised communities. Currently, he is a project advisor at Junior Chamber International Cambodia (Chaktomuk), where he advises the International Cooperation Committee of this organization. Apart from that, he is a graduate student in law and international studies from the Royal University of Law and Economics and the Royal University of Phnom Penh. During his internship, he completed a thesis related to free trade agreements, where he realised there was a need to address how to maximise the utilisation of such trade agreements.
