OU Virak
Vichet Prum, 26, is a civil servant at the Ministry of Environment and a project coordinator at a youth-led organization, Mekong Resilience. He is a junior research fellow at Future Forum, an independent think tank. He is also a Clean Energy Fellow and an alumni of the 2023 JENESYS Exchange Program on the theme of Japan’s effort for SDGs in 2023. As a public policy research enthusiast, Vichet has also conducted a micro-policy intervention on solar rooftops in rural areas in Policy Lab 2019 and contributed one chapter about sustainable electricity in Cambodia in 2050: a study on innovation micro-grid systems to the World We Want Book that was supported by the United Nations in Cambodia and the SecDev Foundation. His areas of interest are green and sustainable living, public mobility, energy-related sectors, and environmental policies.
